Georgia’s Oil and Petroleum Product Production Reaches 858,500 Tonnes in Eight Months

On 29 October, Geostat figures showed that Georgia produced 858,500 tonnes of oil and petroleum products during January–August 2026, compared with 32,500 tonnes in the same period of 2025. Exports also increased sharply to 954,800 tonnes from 81,800 tonnes a year earlier, highlighting a significant change in the sector’s production and trade volumes.
